Shelby So

Shelby is a second year commerce student majoring in Economics and Finance. She found her interest in economics after years of following Australian politics and the Federal Budget religiously, and has a love for public policy, being particularly interested in issues such as housing affordability and economic inequality. Of course, being the National Affairs Officer, her job is to organise the national Public Policy Case Competition and ensure its success, eventually expanding ESSA nationally.

She decided to join ESSA because she wanted to find more people to discuss current affairs and economic issues with, and to get more involved during her time on campus.

Shelby can be found procrastinating on university coursework by F5ing for the latest political news, mournfully looking at the US/AUD exchange rate and listening to history podcasts.
