The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) provides leading edge policy advice to the Treasurer and whole of government on macroeconomics, forecasting and fiscal strategy, competition and regulation policy, financial risk management, social policy and infrastructure, climate change, tax insurance and intergovernmental relationship management.

The DTF Summer Internship Program provides opportunities for highly motivated, near-final year university students interested in a future career with the Department to gain first-hand experience in the application of accounting and economics in a public policy environment.
